Our Annual General Meeting and end-of-year celebration was fantastic!
As a charity, we proudly supported over 1,000 community members in 2024 through employability programs, education initiatives, wellbeing support, and food parcels. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate an incredible year.
Guests enjoyed a variety of highlights, including musical performances, a delicious Christmas dinner, a lively raffle, and a special visit from Santa, who delighted the children with gifts.
Festivities began at 1 PM with a warm welcome from LPPI Chairperson, Cllr Michelline Ngongo, followed by an inspiring greeting from local MP and board trustee Jeremy Corbyn.

Our talented Homework Club children then wowed the crowd with a rendition of the seasonal classic Walking in a Winter Wonderland and shared their beautiful winter haikus. The audience of around 80 community members were visibly moved by their creativity and spirit.
It was truly heartwarming to share this celebration with the community we serve and those who generously support our mission, including our brilliant partners Islington Council, Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and PPCP.
Here’s to continuing our work with families, children, and young people in 2025- we can’t wait to see what the future holds!
Special thanks to our photographer Daniel Belay for capturing these special moments.
